What Are Inaba Churu Treats?
If you haven't heard of Inaba Churu, you're missing out on one of the most beloved cat treats on the market. Churu (pronounced "choo-roo") are creamy, lickable cat treats that come in a convenient squeeze tube. They're made with real fish or chicken, have a smooth purée texture, and are irresistible to virtually every cat — even the pickiest ones.
Why Cats (and Their Owners) Love Churu
Churu treats are more than just a tasty snack. They're made with high-moisture ingredients, which means they double as a hydration boost — great for cats who don't drink enough water. They contain no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and are low in calories, making them a guilt-free reward. The squeeze tube format also makes them perfect for bonding, training, or distracting your cat during grooming or vet visits.
Inaba Churu at Nikko's Pet Supplies
We carry the popular Inaba Churu Salmon/Chicken/Scallop Cat Assortment (20 x 0.5oz) — a variety pack featuring three fan-favorite flavors so your cat never gets bored. With 20 individual tubes per pack, you'll always have a treat on hand for those special moments.
How to Use Churu Treats
Simply snip or twist open the tip of the tube and let your cat lick directly from it. You can also squeeze the contents onto a lick mat or plate for a longer-lasting enrichment activity. Churu can be used as a daily treat, a meal topper, or a high-value reward during training sessions. Most cats go absolutely wild for them — consider yourself warned!
Are Churu Treats Healthy?
Yes! Inaba Churu treats are made with real tuna, chicken, or seafood as the primary ingredient. They're grain-free, low in calories (about 8-10 calories per tube), and contain added vitamins and minerals. They're suitable for cats of all ages and are a great way to add variety and excitement to your cat's routine.
